Location is great for those who dont want to be in the center but close enough to walk, 2mins away is the underground U2 line which runs right across town so is handy for stopping off at any of the popular spots and there is a bus stop outside. The rooms are lovely and clean, warm and comfortable, lovely facilities and the hairdryer needs a mention as its great, not the usual hotel ones that barely dry your hair. Breakfast was a very good selection of hot and cold food, cereals, pancakes and pastries. Very nice. The also have a nice little shop for snacks and light lunch in the lobby which you can take yourself and charge to your room or pay on the go, very handy. Always people in the lobby bar/restaurant so always a nice atmosphere there too. The staff went above an beyond all the time and were always so pleasant and courteous. It was a real pleasure staying here.

The Courtyard Berlin City Center (Room 203) provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, allowing ample space for two large suitcases, and featured modern decor, a large, comfortable bed, multiple seating options, excellent adjustable lighting, and an openable window for fresh air. Daily housekeeping was flawless, ensuring the room was always spotless. Storage options were plentiful, with hangers, hooks, and shelves, and the mirrors, including a lighted bathroom mirror and a full-length one, were excellent. Basic tea and coffee were provided, and the room was warm and cozy in December, thanks to both air conditioning and a bathroom radiator. The hotel itself was modern and attractive, conveniently located near public transport, with friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here as our last stop on a 3 week European trip and it was a delightful experience. I deliberately booked a “big name” hotel and I appreciated the “creature comforts” us Americans are used to in our hotels plus some extra surprises that were much appreciated. First — this hotel had normal pillows that were plentiful and supportive! The bed was also sooooo comfortable and there was plenty of room for both of us to open our suitcases and repack without having to trip over ourselves and each other. The shower had full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to use along with a closing shower door to keep the water INSIDE the shower. The staff all spoke fluent English and were a pleasure to deal with at every turn.

The view outside my room was of a large road junction but the windows were pretty sound proof so I couldn't actually hear the sound of the cars. The hotel was walking distance to some cafes, and supermarkets which was useful. There was also a metro station close by (less than 5 minute walk). The museum island was also walking distance (around 15 minute walk). The bed was comfortable and there was a TV which you could cast your shows onto (youtube/netflix..etc). All in all, I had a good stay here.

We were particularly grateful for the staff's generosity in offering us a free room upgrade, which definitely enhanced our stay and made it feel extra special. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable base for exploring the city. Our only minor suggestion would be to provide guests with a complimentary bottle of water each day, as only the first day had this amenity. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard Marriott and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient option in Berlin.
